1. Snorkeling At Hideaway Beach
Things to do in Princeville are snorkeling at the secluded and beautiful Hideaway Beach. This half-mile oceanfront is located on the northern side of Kauai.
Hideaway Beach lies in the Princeville Resort area stretched along the foot of Princeville's clifflines. The stunning beach with white sand and breezy shades is a perfect spot for water adventure.
Also known as Pali Ke Kua Beach, you need to hike for about 15 minutes down to the ocean to reach the place. The trail begins just outside the gatehouse to the St. Regis Hotel, at the end of Ka Haku Road.
This place is excellent for experienced snorkelers, especially when the surfs are small and visibility is good. There are no lifeguards or facilities on site, so visitors need to be careful before getting in the water.
